The Situation of the Families
The daycare center supports families from very dificult circumstances.
Most of the children in our daycare center come from challenging family backgrounds. For various reasons, many grow up with their grandparents or with only one parent. The families’ economic situation is often marked by unemployment, severe poverty, and a lack of future prospects.
Many live in very simple huts with leaking roofs, irregular access to clean drinking water, and extremely basic sanitary conditions. For quite a few children, the daycare center is the only place where they receive nutritious and regular meals as well as early childhood education.

The Little Voices of Our Daycare
Antonio and Otavio enjoy coming to the daycare. Their grandmothers bring them every morning at 7:00 a.m. and pick them up in the late afternoon at 5:00 p.m.
